Will my headset's proximity sensor keep my headset on when I put it down on a cybust stand?
No. If you have an HTC Vive, it will go into standby mode after the motion sensors have not detected movement for ten seconds. It will turn off after five minutes. If your headset is an Oculus Rift, simply make sure that you quit the Oculus Home application when you are finished using it. This will ensure that your headset doesn't stay on when you set it down on the cybust stand. As for the PlayStation VR system, simply turn off the headset when you put it on the stand.
Will my headset's straps get stretched out from staying on a stand for prolonged periods of time?
No. When we designed our stand, we made sure that we built it based on an average size cranium, and then we scaled it down to 95% of that size to make sure that you don't need to loosen the straps after use. So straps should not be stretched out by using our stand.
Will your stand's base scratch my furniture?
No. the stand's steel base is sitting on a black felt pad.
How do I clean my cybust stand?
Use a damp cloth or unscented baby wipes to remove dust and fingerprints from the surface of your stand.
What is a cybust stand made of?
The base of a cybust stand is made of premium quality steel. The head part is hand made from premium fibreglass with a high standard paint finish and protected with a transparent matte clear coat.
